Cameron Highlands


Took a minibus to Tanah Rata in the Cameron Highlands and in the afternoon walked up a hill to tudor hotel and had fancy(read:expensive) scones with jam and tea).

Georgetown/Penang


Arrived late afternoon after a long bus ride and a short ferry trip, and checked into Love Lane Inn (great friendly clean place), and wandered around the old colonial area.

Met an Irish guy called Wayne in my hostel and we took a bus to Kek Lok Si Temple. Also tried to go up Penang Hill [...]

In the jungle, and finding Nemo and friends!


Taman Negara
Left Kuala Lumpur and headed to the jungle, otherwise known as Taman Negara, the major national park in Malaysia.
It took two busses and a very nice three hour boat trip to get there, with occasional monkeys or local people on the bank
