Movement
And once again, change is in the air. I quit my job (4.5 years, fulltime) a few weeks ago. A new version of enjoyperth.com.au will be launching soon. And in less than two weeks I start travelling, though I’ll be still be online a lot and back in Perth semi-regularly. On 13 July I will be officially divorced (it is mutually agreed that this is a good thing, but obviously it’s been a huge change, for us and those close to us :) ).
Travel plans include the north-west coast of WA, the Northern Territory, South East Asia, Africa and Europe. That should see me through until 2011. These plans are vague and subject to change, so I’m not even going to predict what happens after that.
This blog will become a travel blog. Photos from my flickr account will probably show up here automatically. On 15 January, semi-inspired by friends on flickr doing similar, I started my 365 project which involves getting my photo taken every day of the year, by someone different everyday. I’m about halfway now. Occasionally sick of it (the narcissm and having to find someone new everyday to take it) and close to quitting. Being stubborn, thinking it’ll be cool when a whole year is done, and enough people telling me to stick with it, is keeping me going, for now.
I appreciate the freedom I have to be able to do what I’m doing. Thank you to everyone who is supporting me on my way. It’s all very exciting and awesome, and, just sometimes, scary.

welcome back to the land of blogging :)
